Title: BD Manager-SH

Reports to: GM



Pay Status: Non-Exempt



Summary: This position provides BD management to SH office. All duties are performed in coordination with, and under the supervision of, the GM. Duties include: interviewing potential clients; reviewing potential projects with GM; leading contract negotiation with clients; assigning contract preparation to CMD; final review and contract signing; and office resource/staffing related coordination.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):


Marketing:

· Receive first hand information from Marketing Dept. for potential clients/projects.

· Participate first round clients interview/Q&A with Marketing Dept

· Review and update Callison portfolio with Marketing Dept on regular basis.


Contracts

· Negotiate contract SCOPE/FEE/TERM with client.

· Finalize contract agreement and instruct CMD to proceed.

· Coordinate with design teams/staffing manager for team set up.

· Final contract signing.

· Lead first round site visit/project kick off meeting with client and design team.

· Weekly BD meeting/report to GM/CEO.

· Regular review with CMD on potential add/extend design services.




POC & Accounting:

· Instruct CMD to issue mob fee.

· Instruct POC to prepare the POC Master Sheet.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


· Associate's degree or equivalent experience required, prefer major in architecture or business

· Minimum two years experience in an contract or related position performing Business tasks.

· Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office programs.

· Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.

· Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with a variety of personalities and work styles.

· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, written and verbal.

· Exceptional ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in English.

· Ability to organize and prioritize workload in order to meet multiple deadlines.

· Knowledge of general legal terminology and legal principles, helpful.

· Knowledge of architecture, including terminology and timeline, helpful



Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:


· Normal office environment with moderate noise levels, occasional, regular walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing and reaching.

· Ability to perform consistent work on PC.
