Key responsibilities
1. Test silicon PCB board schematic design and review.
a. Power component selection, DC-DC and LDO regulators
b. Power test design, implement method to inject noise in power supply
c. Power measurement design, implement current monitoring design
d. High speed connector selection, evaluating routing escape and signal integrity as well as testing ecosystem.
2. Test silicon PCB board SI/PI simulation
a. SI simulation for insertion/return loss. Check compliance with relevant standards.
b. PI simulation for impedance optimization, power domain crosstalk, and power bump isolation.
3. Test silicon PCB board functional verification and measurement
a. PCB first power on, check clock, IO, power, and waveform quality.
Requirements
1. Proficient in ANSYS HFSS 3D Layout
2. Proficient in ANSYS SiWave PDN analysis or Keysight PiPro
3. Understanding of s-parameters and transmission line theory
