Deloitte is currently searching for a proposal writer/editor who will work within our Clients and Markets organization in support of proposals in all lines of business. This position will be responsible for leading the development of pursuit strategies and persuasive deliverables that differentiate and create a competitive advantage for our pursuit teams and reports directly to the leaders of the Pursuit Support Team. Required competencies include sales/marketing strategy and outstanding writing, messaging, and overall communications skills.
Responsibilities include the following:
- In accordance with specific targeted objectives, guide proposal teams in developing and refining a strategy for the pursuit process. Work directly with client service team to manage the development of proposals.
- Manage specific projects, including - but not limited to - proposals and pursuit deliverables. Collaborate with client service team, graphic design team, marketing professionals, and fellow pursuit professionals to ensure on-time completion and a high level of quality.
- Assume ownership for the development of focused proposal language relating to client's expectations and our organization's differentiators/competitive advantages.
- Develop and write persuasive messages based on information provided from research profiles, meetings with proposal team members and knowledge of organization offerings.
- Provide guidance to client service team members on response requirements and proposal development strategies for complex pursuits.
- Act as the central point for proposal development process including evaluation of requirements, gathering raw proposal materials from service delivery team members, transforming and consolidating team member input into clear and effective responses, writing executive summaries and non-technical content, and complying with all solicitation response requirements.
- Working closely with regional business support and service lines representatives to establish and maintain up-to date online resource center for Chinese proposals which includes templates, tools and database of credentials.
- Keeping updated on best practices around Deloitte's global organization to enhance the quality of the database and tools.
- Knowledge sharing to enhance quality and consistency of written and visual styles and content of proposals generated across the firm.

Qualification:
Qualifications
Native standard and excellent Chinese writing skills.
Good oral and written English.
Experiences in business writing are essential; 3-5 years of proposal writing experience in a corporate environment.
Excellent communicator, writer, editor, leader, and strategist.
Outstanding ability to work with people at all levels; team player.
Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Must be able to work with grace and efficiency under pressure.
Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability.
Experience with one of the Big Four or any other professional provider(s) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.<BR>Comfortable working with page layout, formatting text and exhibits in Word-based and PowerPoint-based templates.
