We are looking for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Developer. Primary focus would be to use the already available data, find patterns in them and come up with Cognitive solutions which would help application users.
Project/Program Description
Develop a digital solution with to generate text content based on risk news and metric data. Integration with existing risk management systems.
Role Description
Looking for a proficient individual contributor in machine learning to help us extract value from data. Proficiency in all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, to training models and deploying them to production.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about artificial intelligence and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
Responsibilities
- Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
- Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
- Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
- Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
- Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed
- Finding available datasets that could be used for training
- Defining validation strategies
- Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
- Store preprocessed data for quick lookup when applicable
- Defining data augmentation pipelines
- Training models and tuning their hyper-parameters
- Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
- Tuning models
- Capability to identify pertinent models fit for the problem at hand
Skills
Proficiency with a traditional machine learning models - classification & regression
Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras
Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
Exposure to semantic and/or contextual searching
Familiarity with Linux
Nice to have
Exposure to BigData/Spark, Elastic-search, document and graph database
Knowledge on flask, Django
Experience:
3-5 years
Required Non-Technical Skills
Must have good written and oral communication skills
Must be comfortable participating in technical discussions and giving technical presentations
Be a highly motivated, self-starting individual willing to work in a dynamic work environment
Work under pressure, manage conflicts and challenges
Must demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Optional Non-Technical Skills
Have a sound macro view of the working of financial risk and control business
Have a fundamental understanding of the workings of financial institutions, specifically investment banks
