POSITION SUMMARY:
1. To build Royal Caribbean brand as the best cruise brand in China through maximizing brand exposure and impact.
2. Support PR function to achieve the highly effective external and internal PR & communications work that build corporate and brand image and reputation in market.
3. To be the promoter of Royal Caribbean brand love and act as spokesperson to media.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist line manager with overall PR strategy development and project planning, including corporate communications and brand communications.
2. Work collaboratively with internal departments and global communications teams to ensure that strategic PR campaigns are delivered effectively in line with the goals.
3. Manage agencies through briefing, implementing and reporting to deliver the PR projects effectively.
4. Support line manger in planning and implementing the offline PR events covering different scales and can take lead to execute independently.
5. Support line manager in developing and optimizing the PR calendar for a sustained storytelling.
6. Take lead to draft the PR contents like press release, statement, newsletter, and FAQ.
7. Manages media and KOL engagement, including identifying and pitching editorial opportunities, and managing briefings that result in meaningful coverage.
8. Plan and execute on EPR promotions and social campaigns to support brand and product communications.
9. Provide analysis and counsel regarding coverage, competitor landscape and industry news.
10. Assistant line manager on crisis management including statement draft, pre-empt plan development, internal and external communication and crisis monitoring daily updates.
11. Manage administrative works including agency and media contract, payment to meet internal financial requirement.
12. Assistant line manager on PR & communication budget management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. University degree or above, preferably in journalism, public relations, language literature or marketing related
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in communications, with no less than 3 years of direct PR experience
3. Previous working experience in renowned PR agency or inhouse side of leading multinational companies with strong consumer-based interface preferred. Travel, hospitality and lifestyle are preferred.
4. Proven track record in handling PR crisis, offline PR events and online PR campaigns from planning across executions
5. Hands on abilities in developing PR content such as press release, advertorial, statement, FAQ.
6. Understand China media and social / digital landscape and trend, have solid connections with core general media, business media, financial media, travel and lifestyle media, and KOLs among these categories.
7. Knowledge in both traditional PR and ePR.
