Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (“VWATJ”), a wholly
owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, is the largest green-field transmission
producer of the VW Group in China. Across two plants, we produce premium
quality Double-clutch Gearbox (DSG) transmissions, hybrid transmissions and
e-drives.
Job Title: E-drive Validation Engineer
Division/Department: Technical Development
Location: Tianjin
Your Responsibilities:
* According to the D-FEMA, standards (DIN, ISO, GB, GB/T) and testing
experience to define the validation requirement, including test spec.
* Plan and execute verification and validation tests (DV/PV), including all
necessary activities to prepare test object and equipment. Evaluate the test
results according to the requirements and prepare the necessary documents for
the final report.
* Participate in the evaluation process and transfer the results to design &
project team.
* Responsible for development and improvement of test procedures, test case
and other evaluation criteria.
* Participation in the development release activities (e.g. Design FMEA, B-
and K-release, BMG release, etc.)
* Support all relevant internal and external partners in case of testing and
analyzing or debugging.
* Support the communication/exchange between internal and external project
interface.
Our Requirements:
* Bachelor degree or above, major in electrical engineering/automotive
engineering / mechatronic engineering, etc.
* Language: English (mandatory)
* At least 3 years working experience in the field of E-motor validation
testing (functional, environmental, mechanical, endurance tests, etc.)
* Familiar with E-motor electrical-magnetic principles, structure, validation
process, manufacture process and material.
* Familiar with different failure modes of E-motor.
* Familiar with testing standards for E-motor (e.g. GB, DIN, ISO, etc.)
* Integrity and value-driven working style, compliant to rules and regulation.
* Remain accountable when mistake happens and be able to speak up if
something goes wrong.
