Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist preferably with a 2 years' hands-on experience but are open to fresh candidates as well. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Python, Pytorch, Transformers and basic understanding of web development frameworks like Flaks, FastAPI and Docker. If you are passionate about working on SOTA models and building applications with a mix of research and development, we'd love to hear from you.

Work Location
Any location in China, work from home.

Key Responsibilities
Understand requirements for a business use case and do research on the best models for the application.
Evaluate and document existing open-source models.
Write training scripts or use existing scripts to fine tune the model on specific use case.
Understand the architecture of models and be able to change different layers / backbones to increase model performance.
Understand LLMs and explore possibilities for various use cases.
Create docker images for the applications and use FastAPI wrappers to create serving endpoints.

Key Qualifications
Prefer 1-2 years' experience in Data Science Applications but freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Strong proficiency with Python, Pytorch and transformers.
Familiarity with understanding and implementing research papers.
Be able to quickly experiment, document and conclude applications.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Evaluation Process
48 hours take home assignment on ML applications.
Technical Interview.
Interviews will be conducted all in English by foreign interviewers.
