Job Purpose:
The occupant should drive, supervise and monitor all national trade marketing activities for the regional market in accordance with the agreed trade marketing plan to maximize short and long term sales volume, profit and market share. In this context a key role is to develop appropriate strategic trade marketing plans and ensure its realization. This role should be also the only coordination window between Sales team and Marketing team to make sure all commercial related actions are fully aligned with our brand and commercial strategy.
Principal Accountabilities and Attributions:
1. Assist head of nation trade marketing in implementation of channel and brand strategies, plans and activities
? Work with Marketing Department closely in developing specific trade activities so as to satisfy the business needs.
? Drive realization of sales target and enhance brand image in trade through effective trade marketing strategies and implementation of quality merchandising/promotion plannings.
2.Work with the Regional team and National Commercial Team in planning and implementing local promotional activities and initiatives to meet specific market needs
? Plan, co-ordinate, implement & evaluate the promotional programs
? Provide the feedback of the field situation and initiate improvement proposal to ensure the final results meet consumers need
3.Coordinate with in-field and respective Brand teams in national key contract outlets merchandising and image design
? Work closely with brand teams in establishment of marketing strategy and brand image in contract outlets
4.Consolidation of sales and marketing report; Trade Marketing expense planning, management and controlling
? Monitor, forecast & audit sales situation and market environment
? Manage and control national trade marketing expenses
? Responsible for gathering market intelligence information (competitors' activities, pricing, sales channel) and send monthly/quarterly reporting to BSC leadership team
5.Overall in-charge of ordering, production, forecasting, distribution and control of POP/POI materials
? Manage the marketing services organizations e.g. advertising agencies, designers, printings, promotions companies
? Liaise and negotiate with promotional agencies to meet pre-set marketing goals and objectives
? Coordinate marketing materials e.g. POP, Pol, POS management as well as PO release, etc.
6.Drive purchasing activities for products managed nationally
? Screen and pre-select potential suppliers through the supplier qualification process
? Conduct supplier visits, build and administer Request For Quotation
? Lead negotiations with suppliers
? Monitor contract/PO compliance and assist in defining corrective actions to improve contract compliance
? Measure supplier performance on all deliveries
7.Responible for national promoter team management
? Provide professional guidelines and directions for promoter team management
? Keep good working momentum and satisfaction with the team, attract, retain and motivate the team through effective training, leadership and coaching
Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:
? At least 8-12 year of trade marketing/brand marketing experience from consumer goods industry with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.
? Strong strategic capabilities (strategic planning, portfolio strategy, consumer interaction efficiency).
? Strong experience in building brands and market (brand platform development, consumer insights, ATL developments Inc. TVC, agency management)
? Master P&L and brand financials.
? Strong experience in people management. Communication and leadership confirmed capability.
