As a Project Expeditor, you will be responsible for ensuring regular follow up of all Vendors either by telecommunication/e-mail or carry out actual expediting visits for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.
Reporting to the Project Operations Manager, you will be arranging field visits when necessary, and get the field expediting report.
- Being aware of contractual obligations of each purchase order placed (i.e. Delivery Performance and Quality Performance liaises with Purchase order)
- Attending Kick off meetings as much as possible/necessary
- Ensuring Progress reports from Vendor are received as appropriate, analyzed and that findings are relayed.
- Keeping the expediting database updated at all the time.
- Generating and making available weekly material status reports to the project team.
- Liaising closely with Logistics Team on all upcoming and existing shipments.
- Issuing of MPR to Sourcing Team for issuance of RFQ to suppliers
- A bachelor’s degree or above with at least 2-3 years working experience, Commercial or Engineering working experience is preferred
- Industry manufacturer or petrochemical industry engineering company related work experience is preferred.
- Factory Location: Shanghai Pudong/ KangQiao Area
- Work diligent, bears hardships and stands hard work, willing to accept the challenge, and teamwork
- English skill is required. Be Good at English read and write; Capable of Speaking in English is preferred
- The optimistic positive, have a strong sense of responsibility
