职位描述

- For our Infrastructure & Cities Sector in BEIJING, we are looking for a Head of OEM (OEM产品部总监).


What are my responsibilities?

1. Portfolio Management (Review Portfolio Strategy, Proposal Product Development, continous streamlining and optimization to assure profitable growth)

2. Market (clear understanding of market & customer needs & competition (performance, trends, benchmark), identification & explore business opportunities, market prices, market volume) for Chinese Market (later AP)

3. Requirement Engineering (systematic inclusion of target countries, Target customers, Sales force/BD) to ensure comprehensive requirement (functional and non-functional) coverage, unique selling proposition. Define / conduct Target cost, profitability analyses, Business plan supported by BA. Go-to-Market-Strategy.

4. System Roadmap (synchronize product planning with system roadmap, ensure compatibility)

5. Follow up realization ( ensure time, budget, quality, features, target cost) together with Project Manager for products (this includes Applications) developed /manufactured/ sourced in China.

6. Market Introduction (Define Product announcement/sales release, specify product launch strategy, ensure coordinated market introduction/phase out, contribute to marketing campaign, define demand plan (ramp up/ramp down), monitor quality and drive solutions of initial quality issues.

7. Monitor business (monitor business figures (volume, margin, market price), ensure growth initiatives, follow up on deviations, contribute to BTA, define productivity improvement actions (e.g. DTC), monitor quality and delivery performance)

8. General management (employees, project management, initiatives,…)


What do I need to qualify for this job?

1. Marketing: Broad understanding of the relevant market and it's environment. In depth understanding of specific market (e.g. HVAC, Valve& Actuators etc.), it's applications and competitors. Understands adjacent markets and is able to foresee changes in the marketplace.

2. Profess. Knowledge: Advanced domain specific know how, very good PM and general business skills. Very good know how of the relevant domain (e.g. building automation systems) broad marketing& product management know how.

3. Methodology: Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Masters complex problems, is able to reduce complexity, sets priorities based on clear criterias such as business impact etc.

4. Processes: Strong Product Management process know how. Advanced skills in PM processes such as portfolio management, market driven pricing, performance systems etc.

5. Strong domain specific experience. At least 5 years experience in relevant domain (e.g. building automation systems, Valves& Actuators etc.).

6. Management of larger projects. Has managed market introductions of larger and complex offerings (e.g. complete BACS system, V&A portfolio etc.)

7. Management of challenging situations/teams. Has shown strong leadership under difficult circumstances, managed and guided people trough challenging situations. Knows how to motivate a team and get the best performance from people. Follows a clear strategy, is ready to take decisions and bring things to an end.

8. Global projects. Has worked in larger global teams in a leading role for at least 3 years (e.g. roll outs, trainings in different countries etc.). Working and living abroad is an additional asset.

9. Engineering degree, additional degree in marketing or economics. Typically degree in electrical-, SW- or HVAC engineering.

10. Fluent in English, any additional language is of an advantage


What else do I need to know?

1. OEM specific: drive sales activities to OEM customers. Sales/support strategy together with OEM KAM China and roll-out to market. Technical sales.

2. Mission of Function: The Head CPS OEM China/ AP is the entreprenieur for the Segment CPS OEM.

3. Dimensions of function: Overall responsibility for revenue and profit (wall-to-wall) for China (optional also AP).

- Responsibility for product specification supervise development and production for OEM in BSCE.
