- For our Operations Team we are looking for a Financial Officer at the earliest opportunity.
What are my responsibilities?
1. Execute post-trade actions for FX FWD process including
- deal confirmation;
- documents conformity check;
- settlement coordination;
- commission calculation and ICC invoice arrangement;
- trade documents archiving
2. Support business expansion (e.g. FX spot) by setting up Back Office functions including:
- confirm deal in Treasury management system;
- check documents conformity;
- execute settlements and reconcile transaction information;
- maintains up-to-date trade and counterparty documentation;
- ABOQ and other related regulatory reports
3. Coordinate in FX cash pooling set up including:
- maintain necessary master data for FX cash pooling in Treasury management system;
- create posting rule for cash pooling accounts;
- reconcile cash pooling transactions
4. Other tasks shared/backup within SFSL OPS
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Professional knowledge in treasury especially back office execution
- Essential knowledge of accounting & reporting (IFRS and PRC GAAP)
- Office skills and office software skills (especially Excel)
- Good English communication skills
- 1-3 years relevant work experience in back office function of commercial bank or Treasury department of multi-national corporation
- Work experience in FX settlement / payment is preferred
- Self-driven, can work independently, can work under sometimes stressful conditions. Good team player.

(6) Accepting and discounting bills from member entities;
(7) Handling internal transfer between member entities, and designing programs for relevant transfer and settlement;
(8) Taking deposits from its member entities;
(9) Granting loans to and handling financial leases for member entities;
(10) Engaging in inter-bank borrowings;
(11) Issuing bonds upon approval;
(12) Underwriting corporate bonds of member entities;
(13) Investing in financial institutions;
(14) Investing in securities;
(15) Undertaking consumer credit, buyer’s credit and financial leases on products of member entities; and
(16) Other services as approved by the CBRC.
