Role (Purpose of the job)
This position reports to Legal & Compliance Manager and is responsible for assisting Legal & Compliance Manager to implement legal and compliance processes and standards and to ensure compliance with required governmental and Group regulations.
Key Responsibility
·Support to ensure compliance with all laid down government regulations and corporate policies;
·Support Policy & Procedure update;
·Support the implementation of Corporate Governance Framework, such as coordinating Board Meeting, seeking approval of AOA change, etc.;
·Draft, coordinate and consolidate reports to supervision authorities;
·Support Compliance related IT systems' development and maintain;
·Monitor the operation of anti-money laundering;
·Provide legal and compliance advice on daily business operations;
·Support to develop and manage the business contract templates;
·Support litigations and other legal issues settling down;
·Update Laws and Regulations;
·Conduct internal Legal and Compliance training;
·Maintain good filing of contracts and other legal documents;
·Carry out other ad hoc assignments.
Main Competence Requirements
·Bachelor degree or above, majoring in Law is a must;
·Minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal and compliance officer role, experiences in financial institution as a merit;
·Knowledge of general Chinese compliance regulations and specific supervisory requirements on financial institutions, such as anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, data privacy, anti-unfair competition, etc;
·Knowledge of Chinese Civil and Commercial Laws;
·Fluency in Chinese and English, capability of taking English as a working language;
·Strong communication and presentation skills;
·Detail oriented with patience;
·Initiative, accountable, and able to work under pressure
