KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess the long-term impact of emerging regulatory/policy issues on ExxonMobil related to low carbon solutions, develop & implement an effective response (including external advocacy, communications), and support internal compliance plans
2. Monitor the policy and regulatory landscape for new issues with likely impact on low carbon solutions (CCS and H2)
3. Proactively engage with internal or external (think tanks, academic) experts to help inform advocacy positions
4. Interface with, and participate in trade associations and industry groups, in accordance with ExxonMobil guidelines. Develop, facilitate, lead or participate in external advocacy networks. Communicate ExxonMobil views and positions to external allies and build coalitions to advocate for sound public policy, aligned with our Corporate principles
5. Participate in business strategy studies to provide perspective on long-term policy/regulatory trends, motivations, critical uncertainties and potential scenarios. Ensure that business strategies have adequately contemplated the risks and opportunities from emerging policies
