Job Description

The Training Specialist will report directly to the Training Supervisor. The Training Specialist will deliver da Vinci？ technology training and facilitate surgeon-led training for Physicians and OR care teams from a variety of surgical specialties.
The Training Specialist will be involved in the development, continuous improvement, and support of Customer Training educational programs and will work with the training supervisor to support Training Center operations and deliver results.

Roles & Responsibilities:
? Conduct da Vinci？ Surgical System training programs for surgical teams at designated training centers
? Lead and support Specialized training programs and academic society events. This includes supporting the needs of the surgeon educators and course participants
? Work with the Training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs
? Lead simulation sessions with customers as they prepare for training or to refresh skills prior to cases, as needed
? Support hospital educators in the field by delivering technical training materials and assessing educators’ robotic skills
? Support da Vinci？ Surgical System troubleshooting and maintenance at the training center
? Support administrative tasks and projects for the Customer Training team
? Coordinates with marketing team, sales and other stakeholders to ensure training support is properly allocated to meet the needs of the business.
? Manages training center logistics, inventory, calendar and goals; consistently seeks operational efficiencies.
? Negotiates training center contracts & terms in association with facilities and training center partners
? Manages the Lab Associates to ensure proper workflow, inventory and budget and safety adherence
? Contributes to budget, resource, and financial planning.
Qualifications
Core competencies, Skills and Experience Requirements
? 3+ years of Training / Professional Education / clinical
? Bachelor’s degree or higher required preferably in Clinical or Health Sciences, Healthcare Management
? Demonstrated ability to work cross departmentally to achieve goals
? Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical disease states, surgical applications and operating room environment
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Medical and Training experience preferred
? Clinical and/or operating room exposure preferred
? English-language proficiency required
? Study or work abroad experience preferred
? High capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to assimilate into new environments and be a highly effective team player
? Superior organizational, time management and prioritization skills and ability to operate independently
