- Represent Pinkerton core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Partner with key stakeholders to manage and report on budget performance on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Manage the forecasting and budgeting processes for all security-related expenditure within the APAC region;
- Partner with Regional Managers to improve budgeting and forecasting accuracy.
- Partner with all lines of business that provide budgetary support within the company.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop metrics to measure budgetary performance across APAC.
- Work collaboratively with Finance Managers and Compliance Managers with the organization.
- Prepare and deliver timely monthly usage reports to budget owners.
- Assist in monitoring invoices and providing oversight of all vendor expenditures.
- Prepare month-end accruals.
- Assist with the creation of purchase orders, as needed.
- Identify trends or issues that require management intervention.
- Use Finance tools to create insightful reports and to research issues.
- Create ad hoc reports, as needed by management.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process including drug testing and background investigation.
- Must meet the country age requirements.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the legal right to work in China.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Education/Experience
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related degree with at least three years of financial management and business analysis experience.
Competencies
- Financial management and/or business analysis experience.
- Bi-lingual skills: English and Mandarin.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Able to carry out multiple complex assignments simultaneously with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Results and accuracy driven.
- Able to effectively partner with global teams and individuals.
- Strategic thinker and able to develop actionable plans for execution.
- Able to adapt rapidly to changing business environments.
- Serve as a positive and effective team member.
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Mercury Reporting System, Informaweb Reporting System, and Contractweb, preferred.
