Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a role in BeiGene’s biologics area focusing on Mass spec-based protein characterization. The candidate will join a team of internal & external biologics working across multiple projects.



Responsibilities include:

Method development, optimization, and validation for testing and characterization of biotherapeutics using mass spectrometry instrumentations under R&D environment.

Structural characterization by MS including intact mass profiling, peptide mapping, evaluation of post-translational modification, glycan analysis and et c.

Data analysis and write data report.

Represent Protein Generation Unit at project meetings, present data, and plan resource.



Requirements:

- PhD in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.

- Proven experience with UPLC and standard mass spectrometry (MS) methods utilized to characterize proteins and other biomolecules.

- Extensive knowledge and expertise in high resolution mass spectrometry.

- Knowledge of other protein characterization techniques for biologics, e.g. CE, SPR, CD, DSC, and et c is a plus but not required.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with various teams.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
