Job Description:
Altair is looking for a driven, focused, and high impact Account Executive with strong knowledge of banking, financial services and enterprise-wide Data & Analytics technologies. You will work with a high-performance technical team and help customers understand solutions & business value Altair can deliver.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build & Deliver targets & growth through a combination of Strategic, Tactical & Transformative Opportunities;
Understand Transformation initiatives in banks & financial services organizations and map how Altair’s solutions can contribute to those initiatives;
Sell Altair’s complete portfolio into line of business & Technology divisions in the BFSI space;
Manage the end-to-end sales process and provide clear visibility on the pipeline;
Compete & Differentiate with Altair’ Solutions in the Data & Analytics space;
Identification and development of net new accounts – Creates and executes major accounts’ development plan that will ensure consistent quarter on quarter revenue growth;
Work strategically with pre-sales to identify, create solutions and deliver presentations to multiple personas within a given sales opportunity;
Presentation - Creates and performs compelling sales online and onsite presentations to match company's Solutions with identified needs;
Negotiation and Closing – Ability to balance company and customer objectives to create “win-win” business relationships;
Relationship Development – Develops strong internal and external (customer and partner) relationships that foster sales teamwork, productivity and revenue achievement;
CRM/Sales Tools – Proper use of company’s selected application to maintain sales records, activity and accurate sales forecasting. Completes forms, tasks and sales reports as required by management;
Communication – Consistent and effective internal/external communication. Keeps customers updated on company direction and product development. Relays customer feedback to the company for marketing and product enhancement consideration.
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or above required;
3+ years Enterprise Sales experience with demonstrable success selling complex Business Process Management, Business Intelligence, Visualization or Business Analytics software solutions;
An understanding of industry trends and relevant business drivers;
Candidates must demonstrate history of consistent sales quota achievement;
Excellent knowledge of company's products/services and pricing practices;
Proven selling skills;
Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
Highly motivated self starter;
Commercial & market awareness;
Both Direct and Channel Sales Experience preferred;
Business communication skill in Mandarin and English.
