HSBC Life offers a comprehensive range of insurance solutions to our customers covering protection, retirement, children’s education, wealth growth and management, and legacy planning.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

Strategy & Planning Management may support a Global Business or Region and have a remit ranging from a small geographic area/country to global or a product vertical within a Global Business. The principal responsibility of Strategy & Planning Management is to support the CEO in achieving HSBC's aims in accordance with its Group Strategy.

Role holders will carry out activities that will include most of the following:
Actively participate in and support in ad hoc projects, including strategic reviews, planning, management information (MI), accountability and governance
Conduct analyses necessary to support the determination of Group's strategy
Support the analysis of business performance information, including Scorecards, Annual Operating Plans and track implementation of key strategic initiatives



Qualifications


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Minimum of five years working experience in Life insurance, prefer to be experienced in strategic, planning, marketing areas.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or economics. Other insurance or financial planning professional qualifications such as CFP, FLMI added advantage.
Understanding of metrics and financial measures of the business. Ability to understand at business level financial dynamics of the business and future impacts.
Strong managerial, communications, project management, organizational, lateral thinking, strategic planning, analytical, mathematical, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Business judgment and decision making.
Able to create a positive working relationship with related stakeholders internally and externally
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Chinese
