Job Description:
Responsible for design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for the Saber product line. In this role you will need to be a leader in establishing engineering processes to improve product quality and engineering productivity. Includes understanding customer requirements, writing functional specifications and developing software using Agile development practices. Expected to identify classical solutions to problems with little guidance, and implement these independently. Responsible for significant enhancements to the tool usability and function and understanding customer work flow for doing power system design. Candidate must be able to work independently, soliciting requirements and feedback from other engineers, customers and application engineers to produce detailed functional specifications
Saber software simulates physical effects in different engineering domains (hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, thermal, etc.) as well as signal-flow algorithms and software control. Saber is used in the automotive, aerospace, power and IC industries to simulate and analyze systems, sub-systems and components under a variety of different operational and environmental conditions. Saber Harness provides proven design and verification capabilities in conjunction with the Saber Simulator to create correct-by-design wire harnesses. Designers can create schematic drawings and connectivity diagrams, export component and wire data, import geometry information from MCAD tools, simulate electrical functions, create bundles with connector positions and generate data for manufacturing all within an easy-to-use design tool. Job Requirements:
BS in CS/EE with 5+ years of relevant experience, MS with 3+ years of relevant experience, in programming software for UNIX and Windows operating systems with a thorough knowledge of software capabilities. The individual must have experience on development of complex software projects, familiarity with TCL/TK and C/C++, C# coding and development and testing methodologies, along with a strong back ground in data structures and algorithms. It is essential that the individual has strong desires to learn and explore new technologies and are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills. Beneficial if candidate has prior experiences in the areas below
? Analog and mixed signal simulation and design with VHDL-AMS or MAST languages
? Third party 3D CAD tools like Catia or ProE or Unigraphics or similar
? .Net programming
? GUI design and development
