Description:
This position is an integral part of the Synopsys Strategic Planning Team directly contributing to the success the Asia-Pacific sales organization. You will be responsible for a number of critical planning and analytical tasks that help facilitate AP senior management decision making and increase operational efficiency. This is a highly visible and challenging position combining analytical, strategic and project management elements. The ideal candidate is a self-manager that is results driven with solid business acumen and excellent analytical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
? Drive the annual planning process in the AP region,
o Work with AP Sales and Strategic planning team to develop annual bookings plan and drive planning process to a timely conclusion.
o Work with AP Sales and Sales Quota and Comp team to allocate annual quota across sales team and drive to a timely conclusion.
? Point person on regional run rate questions and issues:
? Provide ad hoc analysis and related data supporting executive decision making and long term business planning in AP region:
? Provide region specific analysis and reporting on a broad range of sales related topics, for example, product trends, customer trends;
? Support worldwide strategic planning and analysis efforts as assigned:

Minimum Requirements
Education: College Degree Required (Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting); MBA is a plus
Skills/Experience:
? At least 5 years relevant experience in related positions with increasing challenge and responsibility.
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on 100% accuracy; advanced MS Excel expertise required.
? Strong communication and persuasion skills. Ability to influence without authority and effectively communicate with remote international partners.
? Proven track record of working effectively with sales teams. Ability to bring cross functional projects to a successful and timely conclusion.
? Self-starter with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environment and drive multiple priorities simultaneously.
? Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
