Job Description:
Intel Labs China is looking for passionate, self-motivated, and talented Research Scientists who have demonstrated outstanding research background and experiences in the computer graphics and deep learning areas. The candidate should have strong passion for researching advanced DL-based visual synthesis techniques and building innovative applications on Intel computing platforms like CPU/GPU/FPGA. Besides technical expertise, the candidate must exhibit ability to work in a collaborative corporate environment. The person must demonstrate the commitment to software ecosystem in China and help Intel's leadership on computer graphics industry. Given the highly dynamic environment, the candidate should also be able to ramp quickly on new DL-based visual synthesis techniques.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: PhD Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or Master's Degree with 3+ years' experience. Deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in computer graphics and deep learning. Proven experience in software ecosystem, e.g., code commits to famous local computer graphics projects such as Taichi programming language. Solid research track record on GPU rendering, raytracing, physically-based simulation and deep learning with peer-reviewed publications in top academic conferences and journals in the related areas. Computer Science fundamentals including computer architecture, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. Strong C/C++ programming skills. Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts. Preferred Qualifications: Experiences in industry-level game engines such as Unity3D and Unreal. Development experience on Linux platforms and mobile/embedded devices. Performance optimization using SIMD, OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, etc. Experience in developing algorithms to solve real-world problems. Skilled at algorithm and coding, ACM ICPC, NOI/IOI, Top Codec, Kaggle Winners preferred. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
