Job responsibilities

Mission:

• Deep
  understanding of collections management in order to assess all aspects
  of risk associated with efficient and effective processes and reflect
  these in clear risk strategies and day to day guidelines, compliant with
  local legislation.
• Ensure
  the Collection teams achieve all performance targets, developing and
  implementing solutions which positively impact the teams’ performance,
  analyzing operating area performance, improving efficiency and reducing
  credit loss.
• Ensure
  compliance of team activities with all group risk and collections policy
  and procedures.
• Liaise
  through structured meetings with Sales, Finance, and other members of
  the Risk Management team to ensure continuous improvement and
  development in risk underwriting strategies to mitigate the risk of
  default.
• Ensure
  timely referral to and ongoing liaison with Workout in Munich in
  managing large potential losses
• Provide
  appropriate training and advice to team to ensure that collections
  management processes are effective and losses minimized.
• Manage
  and coach team; stimulate and encourage engagement of colleagues;
  identify and support talents to build a strong second line of management
• Ensure
  team makes optimal use of available processes and tools, and to
  demonstrate and drive a proactive mindset in identifying and
  implementing any optimization opportunity
• Actively
  contribute to the Risk Management Senior team in embedding a risk based
  culture in the organization and sharing lesions learned and best risk
  management practices.
• Drive
  portfolio review processes and initiatives for exposures potentially at
  risk with Sales and Risk Management to minimize/mitigate possible risks
  during the life of the lease.
• Use
  relevant management information to improve team performance against
  objectives, including ad-hoc cases reviews

Required Education/Skills/Experience

• 5
  years experience in similar function or 10 years experience in equipment
  finance operations or risk management, preferably in a company with
  international background
• Analysis
  skills; planning and organizing; able to prioritize
• Ability
  to manage and motivate direct reports
• Excellent
  interpersonal and communication skills.
