1. Responsible for accounting and reconciliation of inventory, COGS (standard cost updates, annual cost roll and transfer prices) and capital expenditure to provide financial visibility and insight for action.
2. Analyze cost variances, inventory obsolescence, write-offs in collaboration with Production, Procurement/Sourcing, Logistic and other stakeholders so as to recommend and drive cost and process improvements
3. Establish and analyze costs of factory processes including administration, labor, shipping etc. to recommend changes to optimize cost and improve processes.
4. Advising internal stakeholders on appropriate costing based on financial information and insight
5. Organize and implement annual inventory physical counts, identify and resolve inventory issues, and improve inventory management.
6. Manage capital expenditure, fixed assets and annual physical count; identifying and resolving issues to improve overall management.
7. Support Business Controller in cost accounting, inventory and capital expenditure reporting, analysis and follow-ups.
8. Support the timely and accurate completion of work assigned by the Finance Controller.

Job Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, with more than 3 years’ experience in cost accounting
2. Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
3. Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data to provide insight and drive action
4. Experienced in factory cost accounting for a manufacturing industry with experience in discrete manufacturing process advantageous.
5. Proficient in ERP systems (experience working with SAP is advantageous) and Microsoft Office software
6. Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills in Chinese and English.
7. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, strong sense of responsibility and fast learning ability.
