SOFTWARE VALIDATION ENGINEER – M2M
Location: Beijing
As a Software Validation Engineer for the M2M team located in Beijing, you will prepare and conduct testing of innovative wireless modules. These products will be used in automotive, industrial and other M2M applications globally.
A week in the life of a Software Validation Engineer:
? You will validate system software for wireless modules according to test strategies and plans.
? You will complete the test plan, write automation test scripts and execute test cases.
? You will design test cases, analyze test log files and support troubleshooting.
? You will continuously improve test cases for early failure detection.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
? To succeed at this job, you must have: familiarity with wireless technologies such as GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NB-IoT; knowledge of software test methodologies.
? It would be preferred if you have: familiarity with network layer, knowing register, call, handover, cell reselection work flow ; experience with python, ttl or other scripting languages; experience with system and application tests for wireless modules.
? You must be fluent in English.
? We would like someone to join our team who is a quick-learner, an excellent troubleshooter with strong communication, a problem-solver, analytical, a team player and self-motivated.
? You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecommunication or Computer Software Engineering.
