Responsibilities:
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and influence to carry out the following:
? Develop analytical assays and culturing/expansion process for cell therapy drugs.
? Develop functional assays for antibody drugs in multiple formats including cell-based assays, ELISA and FACS assays based on the mechanism of action.
? Perform genome editing using CRISPR or transposon techniques in recombinant and primary cells.
? Provide the functional assay support for the project study, coordinate and perform assays within timeline and quality requirements. Support analytical method technical transfer, verification and validation.
? Analyze and summarize data independently. Prepare reports and documentations to support application for INDs and NDAs.
? Drive the development of technical skills through coaching and motivate a high performing culture across the team.
? Ability and desire to master new skills, methods and technologies that enhance departmental capabilities
Requirements:
? PhD degree in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology or related field with 0-3 years of academic institution experience, particularly in relation to function assay development for antibody drug or cell therapy.
? Hands-on primary T-cell or NK cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, genome editing (CRISPR/CAS9, transposon) experience is strongly preferred.
? Excellent interpersonal skills as well as good analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
? Broad knowledge and solid insight into cell therapy, cell-based assay and genome editing.
? Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills and capability to multi-task is essential.
? Preferred to those with experience in analytical and process development for cell therapy drugs like CAR-T and CAR-NK.
? Preferred to those with experience in genome editing using CRIPSR/CAS9, transposon techniques.
? Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative in a constructive manner.
? Effective written and communication skills in both Chinese and English.
