The DMPK Department of BeiGene is seeking a talented Biotransformation Scientist to provide drug metabolism support for drug discovery and development programs at its Beijing site. The position will have project representative and hands-on lab-based activities including crafting and conducting various drug metabolism experiments, interpretation of data, presenting data to team and writing summary/reports.
?Using various biochemical (incubation with various liver subcellular fractions, recombinant enzymes, and hepatocytes) and analytical techniques to support in vitro and in vivo drug metabolism studies
?You will design, commission and conduct appropriate experimental studies to support compound design, project progression and candidate selection to understand, risk mitigate and resolve project ADME challenges.
?Apply an expert understanding of DMPK, physico-chemical property assays and biotransformation reactions to project chemistry and data.
?You’ll recommend, initiate, lead and champion new innovations that ensure cutting-edge science is applied to drug project issues
?Prepare the DMPK part of internal/regulatory documents (e.g. IND, IB, NDA)
?You will conduct collaborative research aligned to DMPK and Oncology objectives and publish research papers in internationally recognised journals.
职位要求：
?Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 3 year of relevant post-doctoral experience or an M.Sc degree with a minimum of 8 years of direct industrial drug metabolism experiences is required.
?Some supervisory experience is preferred.
?Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative drug metabolism as supported by relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations in conferences is required.
?Strong organizational and problem-solving skills is required
