Responsibilities

1. Responsible for developing sub-systems within the constraints of Keithley software system architecture and documenting.
2. Participate in creating the product definition by evaluating the intended application and competitive products, generating detailed target specifications, identifying specific requirements of the product.
3. Acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills of design approaches, implementation techniques, and the effective use of development tools, software configuration tools, bug tracing tools.
4. Build knowledge of company, processes, and customers, learn customer applications and instruments and has skills and knowledge as position required and eager to improve.
5. Effective teamwork and collaborating with headquarter and world-wide engineering, applications, marketing, sales, and field support personnel is essential.
6. Solves a range of straightforward problems, analyze possible solutions using standard procedures;
7. Other related duties requested by supervisor, align targets with supervisor and team.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree with 3 years or master's degree with 1 year experience in software product development position.
2. At least 2 years of C++ or C or Java or Python or Lua or Perl experience. Not limiting to language but good master of "Data Structure" and "Algorithm".
3. Experienced in Linux/UNIX programming is better.
4. Experienced in using Tektronix instruments (SMU, Scope) is better.
5. Experienced in XML and Database is better.
6. Good English skills, both in spoken and written.
7. Very strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
8. Quick learner, able to handle multiple assignments for themselves and staff hard working, self-motivated, and assertive.
9. Customer-obsessed and consider whole team affect instead of self-importance, teamwork is always required and to build trust within team.
10. Learn and follow company FBS and APD workflow.
