THE ROLE:

AMD SBIO DFT team is part of ICT team and is responsible to handle the DFT design, DFT verification, DFT timing and DFT implementation (SCAN/ATPG/SIM/Pattern/ATE-support) for SBIO IPs going into AMD RTG products.

THE PERSON:

Has knowledge with DFT flow or verification. Has good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in SBIO DFT feature and architecture definition
• Implement DFT features including SCAN, Boundary SCAN, MBIST, Compression logic, etc.
• Perform verification on all DFT designs
• Prepare DFT related timing constraints and work with FEINT/PD team for timing closure
• ATPG and Scan simulation
• Participate in ATE bring-up and debug the DFT patterns on ATE
• Participate in SBIO DFT project management and coach junior engineers

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiar with entire ASIC design flow
• Familiar with DFT flow and EDA tools, including DFT Compiler, Synopsys Tmax or Mentor

Testkompress/Tessent, etc

• Experience on ATE bring-up is required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good written and oral English
• Good communication skills
• Good script skills including perl, tcl, python, etc.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor or Master, major in EE, CS or related area
