工作职责:

? Review and approve timesheets and expense reports in a timely manner

? Manage discretionary expenses within team (e.g., travel, training, memberships) to meet budget

? Propose salary changes and promotions

? Monitor staff projects quality, timeliness and budgets to foresee and correct issues and assure project expectations are met

? Ensure staff performance and career development plans are discussed and documented

? Manage resources within team: new hires, terminations, and transfers

? Talk to each staff member regularly; strengthen staff morale

? Create an environment that encourages learning, self improvement, and career development for staff

? Participate in and assign team members department specific programs/initiatives

? Ensure relevant processes and SOPs are followed.

? Ensure projects meet expectations and metrics for quality, timeliness, and budget. Attend project review meetings.

? Maintain familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory requirements that affect Biostatistics.

? Provide statistical input to the design of new clinical programs or studies

? Provide staff training

? Recommend and develop new staff training programs

任职资格:

? An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) from an accredited institution in statistics, biostatistics, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or a health related field or equivalent degree preferred.

? M.S. degree with 5 years of industrial experience or Ph.D. degree with 3 years of industrial experience in clinical trials in CROs or pharmaceutical companies

? Experience in project leadership and management of statisticians required

? Experience using computerized systems (SAS), PC Windows and WORD required

? Read, write and speak fluent English

? Excellent written communication and presentation skills
