As validation engineer, you are the quality control position within engineering team through system testing and development validation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on automation for company’s SM product line wielding latest technologies.

This is a situation where you will be viewed as THE expert, so you will be able to make your mark, and drive the direction of the project.

A week in the life of a validation engineer:

· Define validation test plans and procedures for new products or upgraded products.

· Understand existing Java/C/C++ based automation framework and bring amendments to serve new request.

· Will create test cases in JIRA, with X-Ray. Prepare test samples and add automatic test cases in Java/C/C++ based automation framework.

· Work closely with the development team to develop testing strategies

· Monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

· Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability.

· Software Testing Methodologies.

· Experience of Java development in creating test automation applications on Windows/Linux platform.

· Excellent programming/scripting skills in Java, C/C++, Python, Shell Script.

· Well versed in debugging Java, C/C++ applications.

· Maven and Build scripting knowledge.

· Good knowledge of test framework like PyWin, Squish, Sikuli etc.

· Knowledge of Windows/Linux system and commands.

· Good verbal and written communication.

· Good skills of English listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Desirable:

· Experience of creating automation applications on Windows and Linux.

· Knowledge of Software IP protection and Copy protection.

· Well conversant with SDLC – Agile Testing (Scrum)

· Familiarity with PyWin, Squish, Sikuli test frameworks.

· Familiarity with CMake, Ninja.

· You must have a bachelor or master degree on Computer Science or computer related.
