As a Software Architect for the IOT team located in Beijing, you will contribute to the architecture design and software development of wireless communication modules that will be used in automotive, industrial and other M2M applications globally.

 

A week in the life of a SOFTWARE ARCHITECT:

 

• You will map industry trends to the technical foundation, understand and translate business requirement, and integrate them into work
• You will identify critical issues and technical opportunities, collaborate with HW architect and test architect to deliver a robust solution designs and architectures
• You will translate the requirements to internal develop teams to successfully implement the design after design finished, and support teams to evaluate all technical solutions available to solve the problem
• You will in charge of software architecture and component design for wireless modules used in IOT communication according to project plans.
• You will improve existing features’ performance, restructure and perform corresponding troubleshooting.
• You will stay up-to-date about M2M products and markets.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• To succeed at this job, you must have

o   Experience in software architecture, developments, and deployment of applications.

o   Experience in embedded system programming, preferably ARM and related RTOS.

o   Experience in multitask synchronous programming, memory management, system level performance tuning and troubleshooting; coding in various languages (C, C++, Python etc.)

o   Experience in network communication protocol related RFCs, includes TCP/IP, IPV6 and TLS/SSL security connection.

o   Experience in software quality management process, e.g. design review, code review, unit test design;

o   Experience working on teams and experience using software configuration management and development tools to compile and debug software.

 

• It would be preferred if you have

o   Experience developing products that based on 3GPP standards such as NBIOT, LTE, WCDMA and GPRS etc.

• Knowledge of wireless 3GPP standards, especially Layer 3, and familiarity with Anritsu, Agilent or R&S 3G/4G network simulators and related equipment.
• Knowledge and Experience on IOT Cloud Service.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux systems, shell programming and Makefile.
• You must be fluent in English.

• You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or a related field.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of related experiences.
