职位描述
Job Responsibilities
- You serve as the primary technical interface for prospects.
- You are the technical owner of the account, responsible for the customer's technical experience
- You are a technical expert for the whole “Sentinel” product portfolio.
- You accompany sales managers on prospective customer visits and assist in discovery and the diagnosis of the opportunity.
- You understand the customer's business goals and how the technology meets those goals.
- You will lead applicable solution demonstrations & presentations.
- You will lead / coordinate a response for technical aspects of Requests for Information (RFI's).
- For product evaluations you define the success criteria and drive the customer to ensure success.
- For SMB opportunities you might create high-level solution designs incl. required implementation steps.
- For large opportunities you will support our Professional Services team creating detailed solution designs, technical architecture and process workflows.
- You will prepare, support and present product presentations and demonstrations in marketing events.
- You may develop basic proof-of-concepts / code samples.
- You are a team player that helps peers. (e.g. share lessons learned, product/service feedback, best practices and competitive advantages)
- You might need to support other SE's in their respective sales campaigns where advanced/niche solution knowledge or deep technical knowledge is required.
- You document required account and sales opportunity information.
- In non-direct sales regions you support partner related activities (e.g. product/service training, (pre)sales enablement and joint marketing activities).
- You track feature requests to support our Product Management in building the solution roadmap.
- You provide mentoring and guidance to junior SEs or new joiner SEs, including training, coaching and advice.

- Broad IT Knowledge (e.g. operating systems, networking, server applications, protocols, virtualization)

- Basic to advanced development skills around APIs (C/C++, Java, .NET) and web services

- Competence to build rapport, constructive and effective relationships (internally and externally)

- Can change topics and tactics midstream when expectations/needs of the audience changes or something isn't working
- Consulting skills
- Identify customers technical requirements and challenges with existing processes/systems, including potential solutions.
- Translate complex technical issues into common language
- Articulate how the solution will allow the customers to meet their business goals.
- Provide training / workshops to customers & partners (one-on-one, small and large groups)
- Adapt to customer language, depending on audience (e.g. developer vs. project manager) and customer terminology.
- Recognized as a trusted advisor
Other Requirements
- College or university degree in computer science, engineering, or IT related discipline, or correlating number of years of related work experience.
- 8+ Years of experience as a technical sales/pre-sales/Sales Engineering in IT industries or equivalent experience in customer facing role.
- Proven written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to travel 50%. Subject vary from month-to-month.
- Willing and able to work outside one's comfort zone
- Being transparent, direct and accountable. For example seek help when needed and proactively help others.
- Self-driven person who proactively gets things done with no strict supervision
