We are expanding our team for “Automated Driving/Intelligent Connected Vehicles” development in Beijing and start to establish an additional hub in Shanghai. In collaboration with a Chinese technology company we enhance the customer experience and offer tomorrows products to Chinese customers as soon as possible. Our technical teams work closely together with our experts at headquarters and other autonomous driving experts across the globe. Together with you, our experts, and technology partners we create the future of automated driving.

Your Responsibilities include:

The position is responsible for the described scope and tasks within the ADAS/AD/ICV Development department of Volkswagen Group China.

· Use case planning based on project objectives and competitive analysis for data acquisition from the car, data analysis and product improvement in the Cloud.

· Align with counterparts and stakeholders for detailed requirement clarification

· Coordinate with domain experts in software and hardware and suppliers on solution design and compliance validation with legal and IT team

· Work in the agile way for status update, risks monitoring, issues resolving

· Design Automated Driving/Parking (AD.AP) Methods and Tools for Chinese market Release

· Cooperate with headquarter team for Global project rollout in China and China specific planning

Our Requirements:sup

Necessary education:

· PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent

Personal skills:

· Project management: Experience in steering and technical negotiation(PMP preferred)

· Knowledge of use case analysis and design

· Basic knowledge of sensor set, electronic modules (ECUs), vehicle communication architectures, software components for automated driving

· Knowledge of automotive development processes and systems engineering

· Good knowledge of vehicle systems or cloud architecture

· Good knowledge in Agile, Scrum development of Methods and Tools

· Knowledge of ISO26262, ASPICE preferred

· Structured working style, advanced time management and strong analytical skills

· Strong abilities in independent, self-organized work, and cross-functional/-entity collaboration

· Strong confidence and reliability

Working experience (in years):

· Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in automotive or related industry

· Knowledge of business analysis, solution design and technical implementation

· Knowledge of vehicle Electric/Electronics development with interconnection communication(e,g, SOMEIP), cloud-based components design and development

· Knowledge of cloud on Docker, HPC, Database, IOT and network communication

· Software development with Python, R, C/C++, Java

· Experience in Jira, Confluence tools etc.

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

· English fluent

· Chinese recommended

· German beneficial
