The E/E-Integration and Architecture department empowers the Volkswagen group's R&D network and its brands' products in China. The overall goals are the successful function integration of hard- & software developments in China, boosting of China-specific requirements in automotive E/E-architecture concepts and yielding of new enabler technologies for future mobility for China.

- Tasks:

• Define and track diagnostic KPIs and create diagnostic defaults across all levels of the architecture model. This applies to CSO and brand scopes.

• Coordinate diagnosis-relevant requirements with the brands, clusters and external partners and compare with the architecture and diagnosis roadmap

• Ensure consistent and scalable E2E diagnostics, taking all requirements into account

• Define and design the diagnostics of ECUs and compute platforms in collaboration with function domains

• Prepare and drive diagnostic decisions and advise and support departments in implementing diagnostic standards

• Collect, evaluate and consider brand requirements for diagnostics

• Program and release management for diagnosis at cSO and at group level.

• Requirements and change management of function and brand-specific diagnostic standards and content for the CSO and brands.

- Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, electronics or computer science

• Between 3 and 7 years of professional experience in vehicle diagnostics and electrical control systems in vehicle networks

• Familiar with the current diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP) and diagnostic data formats (ODX, OTX) in the vehicle environment

• Familiar with current bus systems and networking technologies (CAN, Flex Ray, Most, LIN, Ethernet) and the Porsche tool chain

• Familiar with modern technologies for evaluating data for targeted fault finding and shutdown (incl. AI systems).

• Cross-industry knowledge of diagnostic and remote maintenance concepts from other industries (e.g. radio networks, distributed data centers).

• Experience
  in project management of SW projects including specification, implementation
  and testing)
