Position: Development ADAP Big Loop/ Data scienceDevelopment Engineer for V2X functions

We are expanding our team for “Automated Driving/Intelligent Connected Vehicles” development in Beijing and start to establish an additional hub in Shanghai. In collaboration with a Chinese technology company we enhance the customer experience and offer tomorrows products to Chinese customers as soon as possible. Our technical teams work closely together with our experts at headquarters and other autonomous driving experts across the globe. Together with you, our experts, and technology partners we create the future of automated driving.

Main goals and objectives:

Connectivity will play an important role in future Intelligent Connected Cars (ICV) in China. This position ensures the definition and development of V2X functions for the Chinese market, together with relevant partners.

Your Responsibilities include:

？ To facilitate Audi's V2X Connected Driving development in Beijing, we are actively looking for an V2X software developer
？ The Software Engineer for V2X development will have the opportunity to work on both series and pre-development projects.
？ For series projects, the developer will support the country specific adaptation of the V2X functions, in order to deliver the function to the Chinese market
？ For pre-development projects, the developer will focus on implementing new V2X scenarios on prototype platforms. Existing ADTF software with vehicle signals shall be used as basis and be adapted and extended where necessary
？ Specification of Connected Driving Functions based on market specific requirements and use cases
？ Definition and realization of cloud based functions
？ Implementation of functions and features in complex systems and prototypes
？ Verification of results and definition of optimization measures
？ Cooperation with local partners and relevant entities of Volkswagen Group worldwide

Our Requirements:

？At least 3 years work experience in automotive function development
？Profound knowledge on software development with C/C++/Python/Shell
？Familiar with ADTF, Vector tools (i.e. CANoe, CANape) or Matlab/Simulink
？Experience in automotive bus system (i.e. LIN, CAN, Flexray) is preferred
？Experience with cloud based functions will be a plus
？Work Experience in Automated Driving, Connectivity or Smart Device Development
？Professional knowledge in communication and network technology
？ Master or above with major in Computer Science, Engineering or automotive field
？ Abroad education experience is preferred
？Flexibility, willingness and cooperativeness
？Structured and reliable working style
？Analytical thinking and self-reflection
