We are looking for people to join our VWAC (VW Automotive Cloud) China team, you will be touching pretty much every phase of product development lifecycle from specifying requirements and design to development, deployment and production. The goal of VWAC is to provide a globally unique and stable platform for development teams in and outside of our organization, enabling them to deliver new services and functionality at a much faster pace – building the foundation of a new eco system of inter-connected mobility services.

Your Job:

• Identify China-specific product requirements and implement appropriate solutions in cooperation with international development team

• Adapt/ deploy VW AC code packages to Chinese cloud environment/ support service integration/ API implementation

• Testing and troubleshooting together with 1-3 level support

• Monitoring and reporting

Professional Experience:

• Expertise in programming languages like (C#, Java etc.) and modern scripting languages like (PowerShell, Go, Python, Rust, Scala etc.)

• Knowledgeable in the design and development of scalable web applications and services

• Experience monitoring and instrumenting both engineering and operational excellence metrics with dashboard technology (such as, Grafana)

• Experience implementing and working with open source projects for developing Iaas and Paas models

• Experience establishing deployment processes and building CI/CD tools

• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance aspects specifically to China deployment would be helpful

• Knowledge of multi-tenant based approach to address global deployment / delivery model

• Knowledge of computer networks and common protocols(for example TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, FTP, SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTP)

• Team player, strong interdisciplinary communication

• Languages: Chinese and English. German is a plus
