The E/E-Integration and Architecture department empowers the Volkswagen group's R&D network and its brands' products in China. The overall goals are the successful function integration of hard- & software developments in China, boosting of China-specific requirements in automotive E/E-architecture concepts and yielding of new enabler technologies for future mobility for China.

Job Purpose/ Role

• You are responsible for the project / technical leadership of the respective test team for different vehicle projects

• Coordinate meetings to define test specification with the different departments and to create the test strategy and test planning with the test team.

• You initiate and monitor test case creation according to integration steps, ensure test case assignment, implementation for the test stations and coordinate and control external service providers

• You are responsible for the time schedule of the whole test plan and to operate all relevant test cases to each milestone

• Coordinate meetings to discuss test failures with the different departments and define the further steps

• Represent the Integration test authorities in relevant meetings / committees and report the test status / error status

Education:

• Master- or Diploma degree in in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 3 years work experience in the (automotive) electronic industry or similar

• Many years of experience in function and software development

• Expert knowledge in the field of testing regarding processes, methods, tools
  and technology

• Deep knowledge of test management and system engineering

• Experience in agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, SAFE, etc.)

Skills:

• Convincing communication / argumentation / persuasiveness / negotiation skills

• High degree of creativity, initiative and willingness to perform

• High ability to solve problems, conflicts, and to achieve strategy aims in complex environment with the team

Language:

• Good command of spoken and written English

• Chinese / German helpful
