Brief Description:

Oracle Supply Chain & MFG4.0 Manager: Manage and deliver Oracle professional design, build, implement and support SCM Solutions that can help enhance Avery Dennison (AD) business performance. Working closely with business team to define and drive AD Supply Chain digital transformation. Offer advice and expertise to AD to help them improve their business performance in terms of operations, procurement, inventory and order entry processes. The work would stretch across a variety of areas, including Procurement, Inventory and Strategy. Working closely with the Business users from Operations department, implement plans from IT & Business. 

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience working on implementation, upgrades, enhancements and support projects in Oracle 11i/R12

• Overall 10+ years of combined SCM and ERP consulting implementing experience. 

• Familiar with Smart Factory and/or Industry 4.0

• Experience must include: Solid understanding of the SCM functions, operating models and supporting organization structures and process best practices

• Strong knowledge on IT systems operations in Manufacturing

• Solid project management experience including: defining scope, setting project timelines and milestone, driving deliverables, identifying risks, managing issues, and client relationship management

• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements

• Strong competence in developing presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Degree like a MBA is desirable

• Demonstrated Oracle configuration/ implementation experience, with Oracle R12.2.X and 11.5.8. 

• Knowledge of working with Oracle tools like Reports, XML Publisher, BI Publisher.

• Thorough understanding of Oracle SCM APIs, Open Interfaces and Conversions, Workflows and Forms Personalization

• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with associates and management at all levels

• Ability to work closely with management, application development and various other teams spread across multiple AD business areas.

• Analyse, understand and translate business requirements into functional design specification

• Documentation AIMS Standards RD020, MD030, MD050, BR100 etc.

• Develop Test scripts & Training Documents

• Conduct and Participate in UAT, CRP

• Industry experience preferred in Manufacturing and Apparel industries

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead in planning and execution of business strategies for Supply Chain digital and innovation services

• Adapt existing methods to create best solutions to drive manufacturing digital transformation of Avery Dennison

• Understands the strategic requirements and direction of AD and offer Solutions.

• Use considerable judgment to determine solutions and seeks guidance on complex problems.

• Work with IT and Supply Chain management to develop Digital strategies by doing the following:

1. Helping define end-to-end SCM processes
2. Implementing/Supporting end-to-end ERP and various digital solutions for AD manufaturing oprtation area
3. Helping develop approach to implement digital technology and SCM applications to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
4. Develop and manage manufacturing execution system (MES) for AD global operations
5. Support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of AD SCM initiatives, aligning  with business strategy
6. Design snf drive change management as well as business process re-engineering
