1. Make mechanical design of new generation electron optics system based on the simulation result.

2. Make tool design and mechanical drawings for designed electron optics system.

3. Assemble, and test the new-designed sub-modules or improve existed sub-modules, then integrate the sub-modules into an electron optics system, and perform basic performance testing in the test bench and write test reports;

4. Develop high precision mechanical parts machining technology and modules assembling and testing process.

5. Make system alignment plan and tolerance requirements according to system accuracy requirements.

6. Integrate new developed electron system onto the system platform; Verify and test the control functions of electronic and software controls modules.

7. Make plans and lead electron optics performance experiments on the testbench, analyze and interpret test data, develop solutions that optimize system performance. Diagnose subsystem problems across algorithms, software, electronics, mechanics, vacuum and electron optics.

8. According to the test result, provide input to new electron optics system specifications, system errors, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware/software solution.

9. Occasional travel to vendors and might be required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor(5 years work experience at least) or Master degree in Mechanics, applied physics, or electrical engineering with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of mechanics and charged particle physics is required.

2. Experience with electron scanning microscopy, charged particle optics, high voltage, charged particle physics, vacuum systems and semiconductor fabs is desirable.

3. The candidate must have good English reading, writing, listening, speaking skill.

4. The candidate must be hands-on and have good team working spirit.

5. The candidate must be self-driven and innovative.
