Formulate short- and long-term strategies on engaging with the Architecture & Design community to grow the business in APMEA, which involves developing relations with Architecture & Design community in the region to create awareness about HMG in their respective regions.

Generate opportunity for the sales funnel, be resourceful in lead generation.

Generate awareness amongst the Architecture & Design community of Herman Miller, engage the Architecture & Design community in meaningful and productive dialogue about insights, products and projects.

Plan, organize, participate or host events to promote and raise profile of the HMG brand and drive growth.

e.g. Organise and host regular showroom visits.

e.g. Organise and participate in regular Architecture and Design networking events.

e.g. Deliver seminars in line with HM’s Insight Group’s accredited programme list both at HM’s and at design firms’ offices.

e.g. Conducting Lunch and Learn (cliched) or more innovative and interactive engagements with A&D community at regular intervals to keep us on top of their minds.

Provide inspiring coaching and education on HMG products to the Architecture & Design community.

Work closely with Sales Leads to develop sales strategy by region and set ambitious targets.

Form meaningful and high-level relationships with potential and existing specifiers, relevant industry contacts and influencers.

Penetrate specific target accounts and establish networking with key decision makers and specifiers.

Build awareness of competitive ability within assigned market territory.

Maintain knowledge levels on all HMG products and services.

Regular input and update of Salesforce.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 - 7years of experience within the industry, high commercial awareness.
• Bachelor Degree or above.
• Proven demonstrable track record of working with Architecture and Design community.
• Must be flexible to work out of hours when required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, good at networking establishment.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic, must be flexible to work out of hours when required.
• Be flexible in frequent business travel.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Successful sales experience of at least 3-5 years.
• Must be numerate in the preparation of quotations.
• Singapore based and with cross cultural mindset and experiences.
