Job description / responsibilities:
· Provide effective product knowledge and application support to the sales teams and dealerships to assist in prime product and work tool sales execution.
· Develop and deliver product and application trainings to the sales teams, dealerships and customers.
· Provide analysis on product application needs and trends.
· Provide reports on competitive performance studies, feature/benefit comparisons and market dynamics to provide life cycle cost knowledge and analytical support to the sales teams, dealerships, customers and internal stakeholders.
· Provide input to Product Groups and NPI (New Product Introduction) teams for next generation NPI product development activities during various NPI phases in terms of VOC (Voice of Customers) collection/communication, development of functional specifications and critical customer requirements. Attend NPI gateway reviews as needed.
· Driving product strategy development and recommendations for the Mining Division in China.
· Communicate and work effectively with internal and external business partners.
Required skills qualifications:
· College/university degree or higher in Mechatronics (preferred) or electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, engineering or equivalent experience.
· Mining industry expertise in China is preferred. Strong technical and engineering experience applied to Mining or heavy-duty machinery and equipment.
· At least 10 years of work experience, including line management in product development or marketing for a large business unit.
· Minimum of 5 years of successful track record with large multinational companies and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large matrix environment in China.
· Ability to synthesize relevant information and apply analytical thinking.
· Strong interpersonal, networking and human relations skills.
· Excellent team spirit and teamwork skills.
· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Desired skills qualifications:
· College/university degree or higher in or equivalent experience is preferred.
· Mining industry expertise in China is preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of successful track record with large multinational companies and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large matrix environment in China.
· Excellent team spirit and teamwork skills.
· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
