Position Summary:

As a Supply Planner at Poly the individual will be responsible to oversee supply planning for assigned product lines. Planners work closely with factory execution at our captive factory or ODM buyers to analyze supply response and proactively take steps to address supply challenges. The position also requires strong coordination with cross functional teams who can help in expediting deliveries whenever there is a delay.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee supply planning for assigned product lines.
• Manage highly constrained products at a detailed level, including allocation by region.
• Manage safety stock levels for assigned products and drive periodic updates based on demand changes.
• Site balancing of finished goods between distribution centers.
• Work closely with factory execution to follow up and expedite supply in case of delays.
• Coordinate with buyers handling FG at ODMs if there are demand supply gaps.
• Manage the parameters in ASCP which are key to planning processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

·        Broad knowledge of manufacturing environment (preferably electronics) and processes.

·        Knowledge of global supply chain including strategies and objectives.

·        Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

·        Software proficiency in handling ERP, Advanced planning systems and Excel. Experience driving projects/enhancements to Advanced Planning Systems. Oracle preferred but not required.

·        Should be analytical and good at problem solving.

·        Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

·        3-5+ years relevant experience as a Supply Planner or a Production Planner.

·        Manufacturing experience required, preferably from high tech or electronics industry.
