Duties & Responsibilities

- Work with UI development lead to determine detailed designs and development estimates based on the functional specifications and high level designs.
?
- Implement and test web-based user interfaces for carrier-class network service assurance applications, based on functional specifications and designs.
?
- Develop production quality software, on schedule

Skills & Experience:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent Engineering field with a concentration in software development
?
- Minimum of 5 years work experience developing web-based user interfaces
?
- At least 3 years experience with server-side web frameworks such as JSF/RichFaces
?
- At least 3 years experience with HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, Ajax, and similar web technologies
?
- At least 3 years experience with Java application programming in a J2EE/JEE environment, including EJBs and Java servlets
?
- Experience with developing applications that are deployed in a UNIX (Solaris or Linux) server environment.
?
- Excellent understanding of software development processes and tools best practices, including agile development concepts and version control.
?
- Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills.
?
- Ability to produce high quality work deliverables with high attention to detail
?
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
?
- Experience with application development using SQL, JDBC, and Hibernate is a plus
?
- Experience with developing applications using the Oracle relational database is a plus
?
- Experience with developing applications using HTML5 is a plus
?
- Knowledge of Ethernet services and data communications is a plus
?
- Experience in an Agile software development environment is a plus
?
- Experience with developing applications that use Zoho Corporation (AdventNet) WebNMS is a plus
