Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide full testing lifecycle for carrier-class network service assurance applications
- Participate in review of product requirements and specifications
- Provide testing estimates and schedules based on the requirements and specifications
- Produce test plans and procedures based on the requirements and specifications
- Execute test procedures for new features, and run regression on legacy features
- Logging of defects into the defect tracking system
- Producing test reports
- Setup and configuration of network test environments


Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent Engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years work experience testing distributed applications
- Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to produce high quality work deliverables with high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Element Management Systems (EMS)
- Oracle relational databases / SQL Stored procedures
- Web based applications
- Experience testing applications containing the following technologies:
- Knowledge of Ethernet services, data communications and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
- Experience with Solaris and Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux) operating systems
- Experience with shell/script languages (e.g. Korn Shell, Bash Shell, Perl, Python, etc...) is a plus
- Experience with Agile software development testing is a plus
- Experience with JIRA is a plus
- UI-based automation scripting is a plus
