Position: Videogame Flash Programmer - Software Engineer
Job Summary
Create high quality online videogames and web content as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with extensive experience creating top selling games for the Playstation3, Playstation2, Playstation, Xbox, Linux, and PC.
Duties
·Work as a Flash/ActionScript programmer on our game user interface and community website
·Contribute to the product design to help produce a polished and compelling online experience
·Learn and apply a broad range of leading edge programming, software design, and performance optimization techniques
Require Qualifications
·A solid understanding of web technology including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Jquery, XML, Flash, and ActionScript
·Professional experience use Flash and ActionScript to make high quality games or interactive websites
·An exceptional eye for detail, with a passion for creating high quality interactive websites and user interfaces
·Excellent oral and written English
·Ability to work independently, solve complex challenges, and hit deadlines
·Good cooperation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
·Working knowledge of C/C++
·A good understanding of object-oriented software design and implementation
·Experience writing applications that integrate with popular social networks, such as Facebook
·Experience working in a team taking a game or website project from concept to completion
