Responsibilities:

• Acceptance of the complaint from the 2nd level in the ICM database and examination of the complaint for content and completeness, if necessary, queries on requesting operational data and complaint templates from the 2nd level (clarity in D2) -> create good preparation for further processing;
• Assessment of the complaint case in terms of priority by the customer, approval, risk potential and the necessary steps;
• Team composition when escalating very critical cases;
• If necessary, initiation of (first) immediate measures for customer protection D3 in the case of critical issues (blocking of stocks, sorting, double checks, additional checks, 4 eyes, ....);
• General support for the Festo subsidiary in evaluating the solution for the customer;
• Commissioning of detailed error diagnoses (attempt, damage analysis) to determine the reason for the error (not necessarily root cause);
• Assess the damage analysis and assign it to the (potential) cause of the error;
• Forwarding to the cause of the error by means of a cause analysis measure and processing of steps (D3), D4, D5, D6 and D7;
• Checking the 8D content reported by the person causing the error for plausibility, completeness and appropriateness of content and deadlines;
• Maintenance of the 8D in the ICM (HQ side);
• Feedback to sales (2nd level);
• Deadline monitoring of all tasks and deadlines for the customer interface on the HQ side. Timely escalation if deadlines are not met (based on the escalation pyramid);
• Completion of the complaint on HQ side after completion of all short-term measures;
• Monitoring of deadlines for long-term measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and above majored in quality and engineering is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality/testing/technical department of an international company;
• High level of Problem Solving (VDA 8D, CQI-20, CAPA, other problem solving tools) and analytical thinking;
• Is familiar with contractual liability, non-contractual liability, tortious product liability, advisor's liability and knows measures of risk minimization;
• Very good communication skills in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
