XL Systems, a division of National Oilwell Varco, is a world leader in the production of large diameter casing and conductor in the oil and gas business. XL Systems needs a quality control inspector to work with one of one of its main suppliers to provide oversight of daily production activities and to assist in continually improving all processes.

Qualifications & Experience/要求和经验

The candidate must have technical training and five years’ work experience as a quality control inspector and quality assurance auditor in a manufacturing environment. It is essential to be able to accurately read and interpret manufacturing drawings and specifications. It is also necessary to be proficient in the use of measuring equipment and able to interpret the results from measurements to validate against established acceptance criteria, document and communicate these findings effectively. Special consideration will be given to individuals who have technical training and work experience in non-destructive examination methods, particularly ultrasonic and magnetic particle.

Have experience of quality inspector, 5 years above is plus;

Grasp the measurement, calibration and setting up of different measuring equipments;

=>能看懂零件制造图纸和规范；

Can understand the CAD drawing and know the specification requirement on product’s manufacturing drawings;

=>良好的沟通能力，能和供应商配合工作；

Good communication skills; can cooperate with supplier to finish work;

=>有无损检测 (超声波和磁粉探伤)经验的优先；

Candidate with skill on non-destructive testing (UT and MPI) is a plus;

=>有较强的学习能力, 能独立工作；

Strong leaning skills, can perform work independently;

The ability to able to speak, read, write and understand English is a plus, however not mandatory. This person will be expected to communicate through the Supplier Quality and Technical Manager who will be able to translate communication to English on their behalf.

Responsibilities include/工作职责:

1. Ensuring only acceptable products, free from all defects, are sent to XL Systems manufacturing plants worldwide.

2. Performing continual cycle audits of various processes, procedures and products of our supplier to determine compliance with XL Systems purchase orders, drawings and engineering specifications, customer specifications and the supplier’s established quality system and process requirements. Periodic audits shall ensure compliance with these requirements.

3. Performing in-process and final dimensional inspection and thread gauging to ensure supplier has met XL Systems purchase order requirements. This includes the use of specialty gages including MRP gauges and or other calibrated measuring instruments.

进行制造过程中及最终成品的尺寸检验， 螺纹检测及校正，确保供应商的产品符合XL的订单要求；包括使用MRP和其他校验用测量器具进行测量工具的校正；

4. The authority to generate non-compliance reports, corrective action and/or preventative actions when discrepant product is found and/or nonconforming conditions are discovered.

5. Assuring sub-supplier activities meet requirements, including receiving inspection, documentation review, source inspection and vendor audits.

6. Monitoring of in-house NDE activities including the validation of NDE techniques and validation that supplier personnel are maintaining NDE personnel qualification records and certifications.

7. Coordinating with Third Party Inspectors, outside agencies and customer contacts on behalf of XL Systems and acting as company liaison when necessary.
