职位描述

Key Objective:  

  • To build MCI branding and business development    

    

Key Responsibilities:      

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a multinational agency servicing multinational clients, ideally in the live communication (Event and/or Conference,Exhibition) field.   Ideally they will be able to introduce new clients as well as to build relationships with existing clients;
  • The BD Manager role ranges across a variety of activities, including business development, client servicing, and project management;
  • Duties will include:    

-      New business presentations / credentials presentations;   

-      Taking client briefs and communicating them clearly to the team;    

-      Participating in creative development process;   

-      Writing proposals, including developing costing and doing research in suppliers where necessary;    

-      Closing deals on new business;    

-      Client servicing – maintaining close contact with clients during projects and communicating internally to all teams to ensure clients’ expectations are met (or managed) and company’s result is profitable.    

-      Other duties related to client management or project management as necessary   

    

Key Requirements:       

  • A polished, bi-lingual (Mandarin, English) professional with 6-10 years experience in the live communication (Conference/exhibitions, events, below the line marketing);
  • Experienced in pitching and able to write proposals;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Already placed in the Beijing and/or China market and with a network of contacts;
  • Able to develop strong client relationships;
  • Able to be both proactive (reaching out to clients and helping them to think ahead) and reactive (responding quickly and efficiently to last-minute client requests);
  • Service-minded, hardworking and with a “whatever it takes” attitude to get the job done;
  • Flexible and willing to work in a thriving, growing and ever-changing environment;
  • Good-natured, easy to get along with;
  • Creative;
