MAJOR RESPONDILITIES WILL INCLUDE

· Perform on demand and planned translation, review, and quality control tasks related to the product dealing with jobs of a transactional nature;

· Tailor best language practices to meet customer-specific requirements with a view to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and customer service;

· Analyze client negative feedback and assist with remedial action plans;

· Inform the Project Manager of progress status as required and show initiative to solve quality and deadline issues in a timely manner;

· Manage product-related queries;

· Test and qualify new resources when necessary;

· Train and support new staff and vendors according to needs of the account when necessary;

· Achieve goals set by lead translator or language quality program manager.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

4 year University degree in Chinese/English or related majors or higher.


REQUIRED SKILLS

· Native-speaker of Simplified Chinese and fluent in written English, fluent in oral English is a plus;

· Extensive experience in Translation, proven record of language specialist or equivalent, Good client feedback is a plus;

· Strong language skills, manage to use natural Chinese expressions to rephrase English source, without being influenced by English original sentence structure;

· Excellent understanding of the style and nature of the certain Web-based or IT products or components. Excellent in finding the right tone for translation under different context;

· General view with details focus towards translation;

· Demonstrable experience in translating advertising and marketing related web English contents with results that create a satisfactory Chinese user experience;

· Experience of “semi-legal” jargon describing the terms and conditions of the above described sites for both retail / partner program is a plus;

· Results driven work ethic with high energy and enthusiasm levels;

· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with tight deadlines and under high-pressure. Ability to give clear, concise and constructive feedback. Excellent problem solving skills;

· Demonstrable experience in development of processes and ideas;

· “Can do” attitude and good at follow internal policies;

· Once recruited, treated favorably.
