Reports to: Service Delivery Manager
1. Job Summary
Client satisfaction is the number one goal of this position. This role provides in person technical support for IT and *** related questions and issues. Professional appearance and behavior is also a requirement in providing top notch, legendary service. The ability to multitask with attention to detail is crucial. Other duties may include creating and coordinating trouble tickets, client requests, RMA coordination, as well as those listed below under major duties. This position is for a person that is a self-starter, who is able to work well within a group or individually in a corporate environment. Discretion is key, as the individual may be exposed to confidential information.
2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provides “white glove” onsite support for *** and IT issues
· Coordinates/escalates when necessary to the Service Management team
· Troubleshoot new undocumented problems, and share knowledge across support teams
· Assist users with ‘how to’ instruction related to IT or *** equipment.
· Coordinates issues with a centralized Service Desk
· Continually learning existing and new technologies.
· Knowledge of the following technologies:
o Windows 7, 8.1 and 10
o Exchange, O365 and Office applications
o iOS and Android Mobile Devices and Mobile Device Management
o Networking
o Printer and device accessories
· Other duties as assigned.
3. Skills and Abilities
· The ability to ask appropriate questions that contribute to the troubleshooting process.
· This position requires understanding of technology, business, office procedures, and the ability to adhere to policies and procedures in a large corporate environment.
· Customer focus and dedication to customer satisfaction.
· Proficient in troubleshooting and solving Windows 10, 8.1, or Windows 7 problems.
· Proficient in troubleshooting and solving desktop software including Microsoft Office products.
· The ability to think on your feet and make decisions on your own is essential.
· Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Education and/or Experience
· Associates Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred.
· 5 years of experience with Information Technology, as well as customer service, preferably in a corporate environment.
· Industry Certifications such as the CompTIA A+ Certification, and Microsoft Certified Professional.
· Experience working for a computer helpdesk.
